What is Pixel Facebook

What is Pixel Facebook?

Literally a pixel is a single point image of a 1 × 1 that collects information about what happens on the page in which it is inserted (usually causing the placement of a cookie). The pixel of Facebook is a piece of JavaScript code that, once introduced on the web, allows you to "follow" users once they leave Facebook and visit you. And why is this so important? Because in a world where more and more multi-channel strategies necessary to know how your customers interact with your platforms at each step of the process can make a difference.

At first this pixel was complicated and needed a programmer to help install it. Different codes to be implemented in specific pages so many advertisers ended up not see the usefulness and not implement were used.

Since a few months ago Facebook is stepping up to make our lives easier and has brought together the various codes in a single pixel that is implemented on all pages alike. A pixel to manage everything and voila! There are no excuses to lose track of your Facebook users.
The pixel allows "cross" the data from the web with which manages Facebook about your potential audience. And joins his role as "potential customers" with that of "platform users" and we know them better. And this translates what? In a series of features that will expand the potential of the network.
