The Role Of Pixels




Expressed in resolution (dpi) or (ppi) are pixels per unit length, ie pixels per inch and the inch measured 2.54 cm.

The resolution defines the number of pixels that contains an image and the size of these pixels express in that way spread in space.
The resolution in the relationship between digital and physical dimensions, ie which will once printed on paper.

* Print size = Number of pixels / resolution (pixels per Inch).

There are different resolutions depending we want to do with the image use either:
- Images for display on computer screen or hang on Internet 72dpi
- Images for imprimnir: at least 150 dpi, but 300 dpi is recommended since they give optimal results
