So say some psychologists who claim that the appearance of
our desktop PC can reveal more details of our personality test that the famous
Rorschach blots. Ben Williams, occupational psychologist in the UK, explained
to the BBC that "the order of certain things on the PC screen can relate
to the priorities of those people in life".
In addition, most of the
people working with a computer tends to personalize it to mark their territory
of more instinctively. Post-its, stickers, wallpapers, are signals that are
saying "this computer is mine, is my space," something that makes us
feel in a familiar and safe environment.
Williams also states that desktops are
an indicator that measures our level of love of technology. in our gallery
desks have seen Linux, music players and video download programs, something
that can give us clues level of computer literacy and navigating some of our
readers.
The truth is that when we look at the wallpaper from someone we do not
know we feel that we are gossiping in other people's lives, looking at
something very personal, to see with our eyes what others eyes see every day.
